Cauliflower Winter 2020

On 6th August 2019 I sowed the seeds and left in the brassica cage once germinated. I then planted in the greenhouse on 23rd October. Whilst they rooted and developed well over half bolted within a month.

On 25th November 2019 I germinated another batch by sowing in compost and leaving in the airing cupboard.

On 18th January 2020 the seedlings were transplanted direct to the bed and given some protection with slug pellets.

My old glass demijohns have come in very useful to give the plant further protection and will hopefully aid development.
